Enthusiastic Newspaper Interview
"You are a famous expert on emotions
And a musician too"
Says the reporter -
I explain the connection
Between emotion and cognition:
Each emotion has its own world view
Love includes and merges and nurtures
Joy is light and dances even with the eyes
Grief heavy, hopeless, the lungs
empty, as is the heart
and Hate wants to destroy, to kill,
that is its very nature
and almost involuntarily, matter of factly
another part of me says
as is not unknown here

But we talk on
The reporter tries bravely
